Ideally situated in central La Tzoumaz, this penthouse apartment next to the main telecabin departure point is ski-in and ski-out. The supermarket, restaurants bars and children's playground are all just a few steps away.

Fully refurbished by 2018, this 4-bedroom property is ideal for extended family or a group of friends. The stunning views from both the front and rear balconies are breathtaking, and the south-facing balcony is fully glass-enclosed comprising 2 sections: an upstairs relaxing zone accessed from two of the bedrooms with comfy sofas and chairs; and a lower area which makes a wonderful (and large) second dining area complete with chandelier and amazing views. The kitchen / dining area is perfect for swapping stories of the day's challenges over a traditional mountain raclette or fondue, and the high-ceilinged living room is a great place to gather around the open fireplace and plan the next day's mountain adventures.

Bedrooms   Bathrooms
This four-bedroom, three-bathroom apartment comfortably sleeps 8 adults. All bedrooms and bathrooms were included in the refurbishment and there is beautifully comfortable solid wood furniture in all bedrooms. There is a master double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (WC, bath and overhead shower) and a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. A second twin bedroom shares the third bathroom (WC and shower) with a bunk bedroom (fitted with two 90cm x 190cm beds). The Penthouse is equipped with a high chair and a folding travel cot (bedding not provided) suitable for children under 2 years old, and a second is available on demand on arrival.  Please note that in accordance with the manufacturer's safety instructions, additional mattresses are not provided with the cots.

Equipment
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for family or group catering, including a dishwasher, microwave, electric filter coffee machine, Nespresso & Dolce Gusto coffee machines, kettle, toaster, oven, hob and separate freezer. There are fondue and raclette sets for a traditional Swiss evening in front of the log fire, and a wine chiller fridge in the outer dining area. A hairdryer and iron are available. Each room is fitted with thermostatically-adjustable central heating radiators. There is a shared (coin-operated) washing machine and dryer available in the building, along with a shared ski-storage room. 

Relaxing
Coming home from a day in the mountains, it is a real pleasure to ski (or mountainbike) right back to the apartment!   Once inside, the views from the top floor apartment are stunning.  On a blue-sky day, the front view stretches 20km, from the floor of the Rhone Valley up to the peaks of the Haut de Cry and the Mont Gond. The enclosed south-facing balconies at the rear are set up for relaxation and dining and have lovely uphill views of the telecabins gliding up the mountainside. Although unheated, the balcony areas quickly warm up in the sunshine on a sunny summer's afternoon, and small electric fan heaters are provided for occasional use in winter. If you are in need of distraction, there is a flat-screen TV with international channels and a DVD player.

Internet
The apartment is equipped with high-speed WIFI for your own private use during your stay. The TV package has a wide range of TV channels including the main UK TV channels, Sky News etc.

Pets
We’re sorry but this is a pet-free property during the winter months (December to April). Please browse our selection of pet-friendly rentals if you would like to travel with your pet during the winter season. Dogs are permitted at other times, on request, and our standard 50 CHF pet cleaning fee applies.

Parking and access
There are two parking spaces reserved for the apartment in the shared car park area underneath the building. Additional parking spaces are available in the free outdoor public car park 300m down the road. Winter tyres and/or snow chains sometimes necessary to reach the village in winter due to frequent snowfalls, however chains must be removed before entering the car park underneath the apartment building. From here an elevator takes you directly up to the private top floor and opens directly into the apartment.

There is an additional pedestrian/skier access at the rear of the building. The apartment is a 1-minute walk from the bus stop, supermarket and children's playground. Car not necessary due to proximity to ski-lifts, restaurants and supermarket - contact us for airport or railway transfers.
